We decided to quit our jobs and go to work at Glen Canyon Dam. This pic is just below the 700 ft tall dam of the colorado river. We took a leisurely, 15 mile float trip down the canyon. The weather was beautiful, of course. We didn't get to keep the hats.

Wake up, Barry!

The floppy hats we picked up in Chicago came in handy today. The Colorado River behind the Glen Canyon Dam is a constant 45 degrees, but the temp in the boat was close to 100.

On the way, ,we saw Native American petroglyphs, carvings in the canyon walls dated from 4,000-8,000 years old.
